Long Covid? Well, At Least A Long Convalescene Part 3

As we near the close of January and given my sick for another 2 weeks more…we are slowly getting to February, 2021. January to me seems like a long month, when you’re stuck at home and can’t go anywhere!! No traveling as its still under restriction and under lock down. I know the feeling of some people that feel that they are isolated, because it can be very lonely. I was lucky that my saviour was my honey bun and he was able to go outside, but we couldn’t go anywhere, so we made do with what we have. He’s not really a telly watcher, so we would take turns watching telly, one day it would be his choice (mostly documentaries, non fiction stuff) which is not my cup of tea.. but I did like some of the things we watched when it was his turn. And of course, he said I could watch my shows when he was at work! LOL!

This picture on the right is what my hubby took just outside our house…its on the big green. It was a few days after I got home that it snowed. In all honesty I really can’t remember how cold it was. As I am writing this, I still can’t remember how cold it was…it might have been really cold according to this picture.  As the days went by it was nothing exciting to mention and it was just me trying to get my body to get better. Moving around, my walking pace is from the living room (where I lived mostly) and the bathroom, and in the backyard. I walked really slow as well can’t run yet. In the days, my walking improved slightly – walking around 2x around, sat down out of breath, then doing it again… this is done repetitiously and each time, increase from 2 + 1…and so on. Eventually, I would venture out to walk from the door to the sidewalk, now that was a long walk!! I walked out from my doorstep, to the end of my driveway and I panicked, and turn around as gasping for breath. It was scary, but exciting, it felt good, but the body told me…nope not yet, but you can walk from the door to the end of the driveway and back. No shop run yet… 😛
