Today is my little brother birthday! Wow, time flies so fast, I remember when he was only 3 or 4 years old! Such a cutie pie and such a boy! Yeah, am the big sis who looked out for him when there were other little boys who were nasty…but he has grown to be a wonderful man, husband, brother, & son, we are all proud of what he has accomplished in life. A veteran like I was, but honestly he enlisted way before I ever did and I sort of followed afterwards (well he got his honorable discharge in the Navy when I decided to enlist!)…yeah, it was an experience that I will not trade for anything and I got to meet lots of people from all walks of life!
Happy Birthday dear Brother… hope you can make it out to our little Turkey gathering!
This is another issue that we’re all dealing with! What measures are the government leaders, bosses doing to help those workers that work in a place where anything and all can happen? What are the preventive measures to take when someone loses control or just want to get out of jail? Where are those people who are supposed to keep us safe from harm while doing the job that we were destined to do? As usual, the answer is at the top…where everyone moans that it’s the economy and not enough $$ but those people who sits in their comfy chairs and delegates to others are safe while those below do the work and never getting any kind of recognition for what they’ve done, but the top man received all the accolades for doing nothing. Something is wrong here… Here’s the video…lets do something about it!

As it has been in Manny Pacquiao’s past fights, Filipinos will, once again, be taking time off from the hustle and bustle of their everyday life to come together and witness our Pambansang Kamao make history on November 13.
If he wins against Antonio Margarito, this fight will earn him his 8th World Boxing Title. The match will be held at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium in Texas, but Filipinos all over the world are making arrangements to watch the fight together over beer, pulutan and the usual festive Filipino food, via Pay-Per-View in their homes, restaurants, community centers.
Other than Biyernes Santo, it is only during a Manny Pacquiao fight when the streets of Metro Manila become clear of traffic. It is also the time when almost all Filipinos are united in spirit — regardless of social class, educational attainment, political affiliation, and TV network loyalty. Mapa-Kapamilya, Kapuso, Kapatid ka man, lahat ay magkakababayan sa panalangin at suporta para kay Manny Pacquiao!…..READ MORE
