Thanks GITA! =)

Okay, I wanted to share something with you that my bestest friend in the whole wide world! But before I go on with this, let me tell you a little bit about Gita and I – we originally met while we were going to College – LAVC its a community college in Van Nuys, California.  We both graduated High School, she at Hollywood High and myself at North Hollywood High – sadly our paths never crossed while we were in high school, until we went to college.

Our paths came when we were both at the “recreation room” this is where the young kids hang out when in between classes or just didn’t feel like going…we both knew similar people, but didn’t know it yet until one day, I decided to “cut” class and just hang out with the guys at the rec room – well unbeknown to me, Gita did the same thing!  We played pool with the boys and had a great time!  Well to cut the story short, we became “best buds” from then on – I found Gita to be fun, funny and very beautiful! She has the awesome “English” accent! I just loved to listen to her talk…made her uncomfortable, but I soon fixed that! Apparently, she was teased in high school and told her that there was nothing to be ashamed of it and those that made fun had the problem and not her.

We have been thru alot in our lives and time seem to fly so fast that next thing we both knew, I was in the Navy and away from home and friends and found a life, married, had a son and then she married and now she’s a mother or 2 great beautiful children! We have keep in touch from time to time and do miss our time together just hanging out and having a great time!

Well, now that you have the gest of our relationship – she got me for my birthday (which is a milestone) …a gift certificate that I could spend on Amazon! She said in no uncertain terms…to be bought for my son or hubby, but it was just for ME!

Okay, so I didn’t get it right away, my birthday was in March and I have just now gotten around to getting something for me! I went to Amazon and looked around, but didn’t know what I wanted…but alas, I needed a new handbag! So I go and shopped around and found the perfect one! I just got it today and it is AWESOME! Love it! So here it is…

Its called a Zebra handbag – black, white with red accent and its really a nice one and the colors are just one of my favorite and it will do nicely with my wardrobe (all oldies) lol… you can make it into a small handbag and unfasten the button inside and make it into a Large bag! So in the evening I can make it into a smaller version and during the day make into a large bag where you know the husband says “can you just…” or “can i put my glasses…” think ya’ll know what I mean by that.

So my friend, Thanks sooooooooo much for this birthday present and I truly loved it! Miss you lots and give the kids a big hug and kiss for me and hugs for you and Tim from all of us here!  🙂
