The New Bridge was opened today!

After all the hoopla, the new bridge has been opened!! To get one last drive across the old bridges, hubby and I took a drive late in the evening last night to drive across The Silas Pearman Bridge(which opened in 1966) to Mt Pleasant and took pictures of the new bridge from Patriots Point…it was hot and humid, but the new bridge look beautiful with the lights on!! Hubby taped our last drive across and taped another on the way back on the other old bridge, the Grace Bridge which was opened 1929 – I really never liked crossing on this bridge as it felt eeerie and unsafe.. but we drove it and made it across safely!

And so this morning, we woke up and decided to drive across the new Bridge….it was great… its soooooo massive and beautiful, a few days before that, we walked on the bridge and hubby took some great photos. This is truly one of the most beautiful bridges in all of North and South America or the world!!! The name of the new bridge is Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge….
