Palmetto Acoustic Series 2009!

Just a reminder, the Palmetto Acoustic Series begins the winter series this Thursday, January 8th @ 7:30pm. Performing that night will be Nick Pagliari (Columbia, SC) and Lauren Lapointe (Savannah, GA). Check out www.myspace.com/palmettoacoustic to listen to their tunes. winter-poster-09

I found this poem from a site when I was surfing around for voting for the Webby Awards for Philippines. I found this poem written by Alexander L. Lacson – “I Am Filipino”. One of the most important things we need today as a people is a beautiful way of looking at ourselves as Filipinos, a positive and healthy image of ourselves, a wonderful definition of ourselves as a people. Our children especially need to believe that there is greatness and beauty in us as a people and as a race.
